About DiY Dave

Hi, I'm David Griffin.

I'm based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, and have been carrying out DIY and handyman projects for over 20 years. What started as helping family, friends and neighbours gradually grew through recommendations into DiY Dave. I started the business in 2020 and, thanks to the continued support and recommendations of my customers, it has continued to grow year after year.

Although DIY isn't my original profession, it's something I've always enjoyed. Over the years I've taken on a wide variety of handyman and home improvement projects, learning new skills along the way and building the experience to tackle everything from small household repairs to larger decorating and maintenance jobs.

One thing that's important to me is honesty. If I genuinely believe a job is outside my experience, I'll always say so rather than take on something I'm not confident I can complete to a high standard. Equally, if you're unsure about a job, I'm always happy to offer advice without any obligation.

Whether you need a shelf putting up, a room decorating, flat-pack furniture assembling or general handyman help with a larger home improvement project, I'd be delighted to hear from you. My aim is simple: provide fair prices, clear communication and quality workmanship from start to finish.

I provide handyman services throughout Kidlington, Oxford and many surrounding Oxfordshire villages.
