We are really pleased to have found Dave. He is always professional, reliable, explains exactly what is involved and is very reasonably priced. We have already booked him in for some work in February - he is in demand! - will definitely be calling on him again.

I can highly recommend Dave. I had to cancel him coming on Tuesday and he was really accommodating and understanding and came this evening. One of the jobs was to tighten a (very hard to get to) kitchen tap in an Island. Dave actually had to crawl inside the island to fix it. Very friendly and will tackle anything!

Dave did a great job today with some sub standard instructions and materials provided by a company I bought a shed off. Would recommend.

My toilet seat fell off completely on a Saturday morning. I found Dave through this neighbourhood app and called him. He arrived that Saturday having bought two toilet seats for me to choose between and did the job with no fuss, no mess and so promptly. He was lovely and friendly and at such a reasonable price. Nobody could do better. Highly recommended

Dave did an extremely good job for us. He made and fitted two cupboards doors (with a beautiful routed finish), and fixed another cupboard door which I'd poorly hung. The quality of his work is second to none and he took as much care over the inside of the cupboard as he did to the exterior. We're delighted with the output and he is incredibly good value for money.

Dave has just completed several DIY jobs for us (putting up blinds, pictures, plumbing in dishwasher) as we we have recently moved house. He was absolutely brilliant. Easy to contact, quick responses, reliable and speedy. Highly recommended.

Dave sorted out a new panel to fit to the side of the bath after the plumber had to fix various leaks. He also put more sealant around the shower panel. He was friendly, prompt, reliable, quick to respond to my message on the Nextdoor App, came to do the quote when he said he would, and turned up on the day on time and took the amount of time he said that it would take, complete with a ready cut and painted panel. The quote was very reasonable and he invoiced promptly. I'd definitely use him again and I'd recommend him to my friends and family.

Dave did a great job insulating and boarding my loft and I'm very pleased with the work that he did. He worked 3 full days and tidied up each day before returning the following day. There are handymen and then there are Handymen. Dave is the latter. Really helpful, someone who really takes pride in what he does and it shows. I can't thank Dave enough for completing the work, while being flexible around my availability.

Really happy with the work Dave has done, an excellent job of replacing some rotten floorboards so a new carpet can be laid and also putting up a new curtain pole and some framed pictures. Dave is a fantastic person to have in your home. Apart from being competent and good at his trade; he quotes accurately, does exactly as discussed and is genuinely lovely to have around yourhome. If he is unsure of what you expect, he always asks and doesn't assume. He even guarantees his work for a year! I’d highly recommend him and would use his services again. He had been responsive to my enquiries in the first place and quite quickly arranged for visits to fix the issue. he also lent his streamer to me free of charge to do some gardening whilst on site doing the job. I found Dave on this site. Thought I would give him a chance. What a hard working man! Didn’t stop all day. Did a fantastic job of mending my bannisters and replacing a downstairs toilet floor which included taking out the toilet and sink. Hoping he will come back to paint a couple of rooms.

DIY Dave did a very good job at replacing a flushing mechanism on our toilet for us. He was on time, efficient and very reasonable.

We used Dave for an aerial wiring job. He brought it down from the loft, through the wall, pinned it really neatly down the side of the house and back through the living room wall. He did a beautiful job of burying it beneath the carpet. he was super neat and tidy and clearly took pride in doing a top class job. I would highly recommend getting a quote from DIY Dave as he is also very affordable.

We cannot rate Dave and his work highly enough. Dave did several tasks in our kitchen, including the hanging of some awkward cupboards (low ceilings), removal of kitchen wall tiles, plastering and re-tiling, plumbing and various other tasks. He works hard and meticulously and nothing seems to phase him, and he is extremely reliable and sincere. We have started a list of jobs around the house that we would like to get him to sort out for us, and his abilities go way beyond the usual handyman tasks of painting, assembling and fixing things.
